The Kalos’ success story began in 2002 and in 2006, the Aveo notchback sedan was added to the compact class model range. Since 2002, more than 440,000 vehicles of this compact series were sold throughout Europe. The Aveo has thus played a vital role in Chevrolet's success, which, in 2007, reached a new peak by chalking up total sales of 457,200 units across Europe.

Chic Style: Opel Tigra TwinTop “Illusion” In Soft-Top Look
0 comments Posted by esteban smith at 6:59 AM
The new “Illusion” model variant is another iteration of the quick-changing Tigra TwinTop: the two-seater’s electro-hydraulic retractable steel roof is covered in a Bordeaux red canvas, which gives the car the soft-top look of a classic fabric-roofed cabrio – without foregoing the benefits of a hard top. The Tigra TwinTop “Illusion” will be one of the stars on the Opel stand at the 78th International Motor Show in Geneva.

The Nissan Pulsar was a compact car/small family car produced by the Japanese automaker Nissan from 1978, when it debuted as a subcompact car, to 2007, when it was replaced in all markets by the Nissan Tiida (or Nissan Versa). It was originally conceived as a replacement for Nissan's first front-wheel drive platform, the Nissan Cherry family (models E10 and F10). Although Pulsar models were mainly in front-wheel drive configuration, Nissan did offer four-wheel drive models during the 1980s to early 1990s, ultimately ending with the four-wheel drive turbocharged Nissan Pulsar GTI-R. Some models were sold as Nissan Sunny and Nissan Almera.

The Nissan Sunny is a small car from Nissan. It was launched in 1966 as the Datsun 1000 and although production in Japan ended in 2004, it remains in production today for the African and American markets. In the US, the later models were known as the Nissan Sentra; in Mexico, the Sunny is known as the Nissan Tsuru. The Sunny fit neatly into Nissan model line. It was larger than the supermini Nissan March (Micra) models, but not as big as the compact Bluebird models. The latest versions of the Sunny were larger than the early models, and may be considered compact cars. Earlier versions (through at least the B11 series) were subcompact cars. All Sunnys through the 1982 model year (except as noted below) used Nissan A engine motors.
Confusingly, the "Sunny" name has been used on other Nissan models not part of the Sunny (B-series) family, notably various export versions of the Nissan Pulsar model line.

Nissan has announced plans to introduce the radical Land Glider Concept at Tokyo Motor Show. The Land Glider looks and feels like a mixture between a car, a motorcycle, and an airplane. The rear view mirrors have been replaced by cameras and monitors. Inside, the traditional steering wheel is replaced with something that looks more at home in a modern jet aircraft.Riding on a motorcycle-inspired Tandem architecture, the Land Glider and its tires can lean up to 17 degrees in turns.Power comes from two electric motors that are connected to lithium-ion batteries mounted underneath the floor. More importantly, the Land Glider features a non-contact charging system that enables it to be recharged at any wireless charging station.
Other vehicles to appear in the Tokyo Show include Nissan Qazana (SUV), Nissan Roox and Nissan NV200 Vanette (taxi).
